The Lost Halter is a cute as summer top and perfect addition to your warm weather wardrobe. Worked from the top down and seamlessly, it means a very small amount of seaming at the end!

The Lost Halter is knit from the top down, beginning with the bust cups before joining and casting on stitches to create the rest of the body. The straps are picked up and worked in a double stockinette stitch and then seamed together.

28 sts and 34 rows = 4 inches /10 cm in 2x1 rib on 3.25 mm [US 3] circular needles, blocked.

Suggested Needles

• 3.25 mm [US 6] circular needles, 16, and 32 or 40 inches / 40, and 80 or 100 cm, or size to obtain gauge. Choose a cable length dependant on your size. Eg. I worked a size XS and used 16 inch / 40 cm circular needles.

Samples made in size XS in a fingering weight yarn.

• Cascade Yarns Heritage Solid (75% Merino Wool, 25% Nylon, 400 metres/437 yds, 100g) in Camel, yarn held single. If you decide to use this yarn, 1 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) 3 (3) skeins are required.

• Qing Fibre Merino Single (100% SW Merino, 366 metres/400yds, 100g) in Soft Lemon, yarn held single. If you decide to use this yarn, 1 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) 3 (3) skeins are required.
