The Lost Shorts is a high waisted short, worked from the top down, in the round, beginning with the waistband and then working down the hips. Stitches are then split for the legs, with customisable options to make as cheeky or modest as preferred.

This pattern uses techniques such as: 2x1 rib, increases and decreases, short rows, stretchy bind off.

28 stitches and 36 rows = 4 inches in 2x1 Rib, on 3.25 mm [US 3] needles.

Suggested Needles

• 3.25 mm [US 3] circular needles 40, 80/100 cm/ 16, 32/40 inches or size to obtain gauge.
• 2.75 mm [US 2] circular needles for the waistband and hem.
